"Mirror" is the way a site-copy on the Internet is called. This system, together with others, is devised to circumvent the censorship made by governements in order to stop dangerous or compromising information.
"Mirrors" best known example is Wikileaks.
Since when wikileaks.org domain was removed by its provider, Assange's group has been hosted on the Internet thanks to a smart campaign asking users to create "mirrors" of the original site.
The art work I conceived for the exhibition XD.01 began with these considerations developing later into a sort of shared game based on a few and simple rules: the conceptual map of Internet mirrors I designed was printed on a poster, letting the gallery visitors to complete the layout, partially or entirely.
To do that, visitors had to make use of the available stickers, that is the copies of the poster iconographic printed contents. (*)
