As in my previous work Against the straight line, I considered again the possibility of crossing spaces by non-conventional routes.
Both works are primarily mental so I needed to represent their feature making use of ephemeral instruments: a trail of seawater that vanishes in its own fulfillment; a volatile chalk line which quickly disappears beneath visitors' steps.
A chalk line whose length is equal to the cellars perimeter within the cellars, is the geometrical paradox pointing out the problem generated by our repetitive habits that cancel, little by little, a creative fruition of spaces.
While walking the thin trace, visitors have been asked to look absolutely ahead: entirely new perspectives of the cellars proved to their sight.
